BSC’s Bullseye League is BRAND NEW, and an excellent way to break into competitive shooting!
League matches will be held weekly for 10 weeks BEGINNING FEB 21st!
The week’s match will be conducted on Tuesday of each week from 4pm-8pm.
Shooters will be shooting 25 rounds each week, and Shooting at 3 different distances (25′, 50′, & 75′).
Must be 10 y/o or older to participate, minors must be accompanied.
All regular range rules apply.
The Bullseye League is VERY LOW STRESS! You won’t have to manipulate reloads, drawing from a holster, or worrying about shooting in weird positions. The goal for this league is simple…hit as many bullseyes (or as close to a bullseye) as possible.
NO WORRIES! We all started somewhere. You don’t need to have any super Gucci guns or gear to compete! These types of leagues and competitions build a ton of camaraderie among the participants. It’s a ton of fun, and most importantly will make you a better shooter in the process. If you have any questions at all, please reach out to Andrew, Chase, Zack, or Keith Directly at Leagues@BuckeyeShootingCenter.com.
Rimfire: Any rimfire pistol. No pistol-braced firearms are permitted. Shooters must use an actual handgun. If it’s chambered in a rimfire cartridge, regardless of action or type, this division is for you!
Semi-Auto: Any centerfire semi-automatic pistol. No pistol-braced firearms are permitted. Shooters must use an actual handgun. If it’s chambered in a centerfire cartridge, and is semi-automatic, this division is for you!
Revolver: Any revolver pistol chambered in a centerfire cartridge.
A shooting handicap will be figured after the completion of WEEK 3. What is a shooting handicap? Just like in golf or bowling, you’ll receive additional points based on your performance against the average score in each division. Once your handicap has been identified, those points will be added to your score each week so you can calculate your overall score. Additionally, your handicap will be adjusted based on performance as it is an average. The better you score, the lower your handicap drops. The worse you do, the higher your handicap becomes.
How is my handicap calculated?
Upon the completion of WEEK 3, a basis score of each entire division will be calculated. 90% of that score will be used as the baseline. Then each shooters average score will be totaled. The difference of the shooter’s score VS the 90% basis score is the shooter’s handicap.
For Example:
3-Week basis score: 200pts
90% of the basis score: 180pts
Shooter’s 3-Week Average Score: 160pts
Shooter’s Handicap beginning Week 4: 20
