Any person(s) looking to obtain their Ohio Concealed Carry Weapons Permit. This is the full 8-hour course, which upon completion grants the student everything they need to obtain their CCW Permit.
This course will introduce you to the basic skills, knowledge, attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol in a safe and responsible manner. We will cover everything from safe firearms handling and storage all the way to marksmanship and maintenance. This course meets and exceeds the requirements to obtain a Concealed Carry License in the state of Ohio. Approximate round count for this class is 100 rounds
BSC offers the full 8-hour CCW class one time a month, always on a Sunday. Students will begin their class at 9am and will complete the class at approximately 5:30pm. Additionally, the student to instructor ratio for this class is kept small to allow more 1-on-1 instruction as needed. Therefore, the monthly CCW class fills up quickly!
If you want to obtain your Ohio CCW Permit, you have 2 options: 1) Take this full 8-hour course or 2) Take our “Ohio CCW Online” course. The “Online CCW” course requires that you have completed the 6-hour online course through the NRA prior to showing up to shoot the practical application portion.
This course will give you the certifications to obtain your CCW permit. Additionally, this course covers pistol fundamentals, proper storage & care, law, and much more!

Chuck holds many certifications from the Ohio Peace Officer Training Commission and National Rifle Association that allow him to speak to and train individuals and law enforcement officers in firearms use and tactics, less-lethal alternatives, crime
prevention, drug and violence education, as well as personal defense.
