Anyone and everyone! The minimum age to compete is 10 years old.

Practical Pistol is a competition that combines the speed and accuracy between using a Handgun or a Pistol Caliber Carbine. BSC’s range is unique in the fact that you, as a shooter, can engage targets against the walls because the walls are armored as well. Thus allowing for the dynamic courses of fire! You do not need to be a tactical savant to have fun and compete in this league! With 5 different divisions, there’s a place for everyone…and of any skill level. Come on out, and have a boat load of fun all while becoming a better shooter in the process!

Practical Pistol begins Thursday, August 24th at 11am!

• League matches will be held weekly for 8 weeks
• The week’s match will begin on Thursday 11am-8pm and Friday 11am-5pm. All shooting must happen on these days.
• Some weeks the course will be shorter or longer depending on the varied course of fire.
• All Rank & Score of the week’s participants will be posted on the League Leaderboard the following Wednesday
• A video walk-through will be posted on social media (YouTube & Facebook) by 12pm the day of competition.
• All shooters must check in with the range desk before they would like to shoot their league
• During peak hours, Practical Pistol shooters will stage in the classroom were they’ll await their turn
• Must be 10 y/o or older to participate, minors must be accompanied by an adult.
• All regular range rules apply.

• Standard League Pricing is $20 per week, $10 for members
• Shooters can purchase a Practical Pistol League Pass for $120 for access to all league matches, $80 for members
• League Pass will be purchasable during first 2 weeks only, with prorated pricing
• Rental equipment will be available to league participants at no additional cost on a first come basis

Scoring is based on “Hit Factor”. Hit Factor = Points/Time. The higher your hit factor, the higher your score. 

Each target engagement will require a minimum of 2 rounds be fired at a target. However, shooters can shoot multiple rounds until they’ve achieved their desired result. Additionally, some targets may require engaging multiple times. Your highest scoring bullets will be scored. Example: Target 6 requires 3 engagements. Therefore, the best 6 hits will be calculated for score regardless of how many holes are on the target. 

Failure to engage a target at a pre-determined point and shooting it when you’re closer will result in a disqualification.

Gamesmanship is one thing, cheating is another. Cheating will not be tolerated.
